Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: June 20, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Meat Master LA website, products, ordering services, delivery services, and related features collectively referred to as the “Services.”
By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Do not access or use our Services if you do not agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Use of the Services
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to place an order through our website.
You agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information when creating an account or placing an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity conducted through your account.
You may not use our Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.
2. Product Information and Availability
Meat Master LA makes reasonable efforts to display accurate product descriptions, prices, images, weights, availability, and other information.
However:
- Product images are provided for illustrative purposes.
- Natural products may vary in color, size, shape, marbling, fat content, texture, and appearance.
- Product availability may change without notice.
- Certain items may be substituted, limited, or unavailable.
- Typographical, pricing, technical, or descriptive errors may occasionally occur.
Meat Master LA reserves the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to modify or update product information at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
3. Prices and Products Sold by Weight
All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes, delivery fees, service fees, handling charges, and other costs will be displayed during checkout whenever reasonably possible.
Certain products may be sold according to their final prepared weight. The displayed price may be an estimate, and the final price may change based on the product’s actual weight.
By placing an order for a product sold by weight, you authorize Meat Master LA or its payment processor to charge the final amount based on the actual prepared weight.
Meat Master LA reserves the right to change its prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted, except when an incorrect price was displayed or the final price depends on product weight.
4. Order Submission and Acceptance
Submitting an order does not guarantee that Meat Master LA has accepted it.
An order confirmation, acknowledgement email, or payment authorization only confirms that we received your order request. It does not constitute final acceptance of the order.
Meat Master LA reserves the right to accept, reject, limit, modify, or cancel an order for reasons including:
- Product unavailability
- Incorrect product or pricing information
- Payment authorization problems
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
- Delivery limitations
- Quantity restrictions
- Errors in customer information
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund for the canceled portion to the original payment method.
5. Payment and Billing Information
By providing a credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment method, you represent that:
- You are authorized to use the payment method.
- The billing information you provide is complete and accurate.
- Meat Master LA or its third-party payment processor may charge the payment method for your purchase.
You authorize the collection of:
- Product charges
- Applicable taxes
- Delivery and handling fees
- Service fees
- Weight-based price adjustments
- Other charges disclosed before the order is completed
Your order may be delayed, rejected, or canceled if your payment method is invalid, declined, expired, unauthorized, or otherwise unacceptable.
Payment processing may be provided by third parties. Meat Master LA is not responsible for delays caused by a bank, card issuer, or third-party payment provider.
6. Taxes
Meat Master LA will collect applicable sales and other taxes when legally required.
Taxes displayed at checkout may be adjusted due to changes in tax rates, product classifications, delivery locations, processing systems, or applicable laws.
7. Order Changes and Cancellations
Because many Meat Master LA products are fresh, perishable, custom-cut, marinated, prepared, or specially sourced, orders may begin processing shortly after submission.
Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible.
An order may only be canceled when:
- Preparation has not begun;
- The product has not been cut, marinated, packaged, or specially sourced;
- The order has not been dispatched; and
- Meat Master LA approves the cancellation.
Once preparation or fulfillment has begun, the order is final and cannot be canceled.
Custom cuts, special orders, catering orders, prepared products, and specially sourced products cannot be canceled once preparation or sourcing has started.
Meat Master LA does not guarantee that it will be able to change or cancel an order after it has been submitted.
8. Shipping, Delivery, and Handling
You agree to pay all delivery, shipping, service, and handling fees disclosed before completing your order.
Delivery times and dates are estimates only. Actual delivery times may be affected by:
- Traffic
- Weather
- Courier availability
- Product availability
- Incorrect customer information
- Restricted access
- High order volume
- Events outside our reasonable control
Meat Master LA may use third-party delivery providers. Delivery by a third-party courier does not make the courier an employee or agent of Meat Master LA.
You agree to provide an accurate delivery address, telephone number, access instructions, gate codes, and any other information reasonably required to complete delivery.
Meat Master LA is not responsible for delivery problems caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the customer.
9. Delivery Receipt and Unattended Orders
You are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the order or that a safe delivery location is available.
Any person who accepts the order at the delivery address will be considered authorized to receive it on your behalf.
When permitted, a courier may leave an order at the delivery address if no one is available. You are responsible for promptly retrieving, inspecting, refrigerating, or freezing the products.
Meat Master LA is not responsible for deterioration, spoilage, theft, damage, or loss occurring after a delivery has been completed, including when an order is:
- Left unattended;
- Exposed to heat or weather;
- Not promptly refrigerated or frozen;
- Delivered according to customer instructions;
- Accepted by another person at the address.
10. Inspection and Food Safety
You must inspect your order immediately after delivery or pickup.
Perishable products should arrive cold and should be refrigerated or frozen promptly. Meat, poultry, seafood, and similar products should generally be at or below 40°F when received.
If a perishable product arrives above 40°F, appears spoiled, has damaged packaging, or may otherwise be unsafe to consume:
- Do not consume the product.
- Take clear photographs of the product, packaging, and temperature reading when possible.
- Contact Meat Master LA within 24 hours.
- Keep the product and packaging until instructed otherwise, unless retaining it would create a health or safety risk.
After delivery or pickup, you are responsible for the proper storage, handling, cleaning, preparation, cooking, and consumption of all products.
You should follow applicable USDA and FDA food-safety recommendations and use a food thermometer to confirm that meat, poultry, seafood, and prepared foods reach safe internal temperatures.
Consuming raw or undercooked meat, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase the risk of foodborne illness, particularly for pregnant individuals, children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.
11. Pickup Orders
Pickup orders must be collected during the confirmed pickup period.
Meat Master LA is not responsible for deterioration or spoilage caused by delayed pickup after the customer has been notified that the order is ready.
Orders that are not collected may not be eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit.
12. Promotions and Promotional Codes
Promotional codes may be subject to:
- Expiration dates
- Minimum purchase requirements
- Product exclusions
- Customer eligibility requirements
- One-time-use limitations
- Location restrictions
- Other conditions disclosed with the promotion
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes:
- Cannot be combined;
- Cannot be applied to previous purchases;
- Have no cash value;
- Cannot be exchanged for cash;
- May not apply to gift cards, special orders, custom cuts, or excluded products.
First-order promotional codes may be limited to new customers or customers who have not completed a purchase within the eligibility period stated in the promotion.
Meat Master LA may modify, suspend, or terminate a promotion when permitted by law, including in cases of error, misuse, fraud, or unauthorized activity.
13. Gift Cards
Meat Master LA gift cards are subject to the terms displayed on the card or provided at the time of purchase.
Gift cards:
- May be used for eligible future purchases;
- Cannot generally be redeemed for cash except where required by law;
- May not be replaced when lost, stolen, or used without authorization;
- May be suspended when fraud, unlawful activity, or unauthorized use is reasonably suspected.
Gift cards do not expire unless otherwise permitted and clearly disclosed in accordance with applicable law.
Meat Master LA reserves the right to request proof of purchase when investigating gift-card misuse or a reimbursement request.
14. Reward and Promotional Cards
Reward cards and promotional cards are subject to the eligibility requirements, expiration dates, exclusions, and other conditions printed on or provided with each card.
Reward and promotional cards are not gift cards and may expire where permitted by law.
15. Prohibited Resale and Export
Products purchased through Meat Master LA are intended for personal use unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
You may not purchase products for unauthorized resale, commercial redistribution, or export in violation of applicable laws.
16. Returns and Refunds
Purchases are subject to the separate Meat Master LA Return and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Due to food-safety requirements, perishable products generally cannot be returned.
Claims involving missing, incorrect, damaged, spoiled, or potentially unsafe products must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.
17. Intellectual Property
The Meat Master LA website and its content, including its text, graphics, photographs, designs, logos, product descriptions, videos, software, and branding, are owned by or licensed to Meat Master LA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.
18. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to or integrate services operated by third parties, including payment processors, delivery providers, map services, and social-media platforms.
Meat Master LA does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, content, policies, or practices of third-party services.
Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s separate terms and privacy policy.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Meat Master LA does not guarantee that:
- The website will always be available or error-free;
- Product information will always be complete or free from mistakes;
- Every product will always be available;
- Delivery will occur at an exact time;
- The Services will meet every customer’s personal expectations.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meat Master LA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, products, delivery services, or third-party services.
Meat Master LA is not responsible for losses resulting from:
- Improper storage or handling after delivery or pickup;
- Failure to follow food-safety instructions;
- Incorrect customer information;
- Unattended deliveries;
- Delays outside our reasonable control;
- Unauthorized access to a customer account;
- Third-party courier or payment-processing issues.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Meat Master LA harmless from claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses resulting from:
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your unlawful use of the Services;
- Information you submit through the website;
- Your improper storage, handling, preparation, or resale of products;
- Your infringement of another person’s rights.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Changes to These Terms
Meat Master LA may update these Terms periodically.
Changes become effective when the revised Terms are posted on the website unless a different effective date is stated.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
25. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Return and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any additional terms displayed during checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and Meat Master LA concerning your use of the Services.
